IVA and credit rating

I am looking to rent a house and the tenancy referencing agency who carried out a credit check on me came back saying that my credit rating indicates that I was discharged from an IVA in 2005. This confuses me for two reasons - 1/ the IVA started in 2002 and is therefore more than 6 years old and I had always been advised that the IVA would fall off my credit record after 6 years from the date it started and 2/ I have paid experian, equifax and call credit to review my credit rating in recent months and none of the records they have provided me shows evidence of my IVA. This means that they are telling me one thing and external parties another.

Does anyone have any advice they could share?!

Also, my equifax report shows loan histroy with two of the banks who were party to the IVA for a two year period following date the IVA commenced.....is this correct? I'd have thought that once the IVA has been court approved that these records would also drop off?

I have written to the credit agencies without much joy...
