Appealing Credit limit with saving statements

Hi all,
I try to increase the limit of my account on my Barclaycard (currently £2450, 14.9%, used daily), and was refused.
When I queried the customer rep, she told me it was simply a case of "computer says NO" lol.
Is there any way I can appeal this desicion?? The account has run perfectly, (No missed payment, never over the limit, etc etc) over the last 2 years (held the account for 4 years), and my last limit increase was in July 05.
I currently have £22500 in savings. Is it worth writing to Barclaycard and appealing the decision and enclosing my saving statements??
Before for you ask, I cant change my credit card provider! (have a default)

Have a default, credit card company won't give increase = reason?
Why would Barclaycard give you an increase when your own credit file says you have defaulted on debt in the past?

just a thougt but if you wanted to buy something la
rge you could always prepay it ?Nice to save.0 -
because they dont not check your credit file, when you ask for credit limit increase so they have no way of knowing that I have a default.
+ they have increase my limit before when I had a default so whats the different now!

Barclaycard uses behavioural scoring existing customers,
Barcalycard's Behavioural score includes characteristics obtained form Experian's DCM block (an automatic monthly feed of Bureaux data on every account Barclaycard hold, without needed to perform a credit check!) so Barclaycard will know about your default.
