    That will be leaktest, all it is telling you is that you ran it, and windows allowed it to talk to the outside world, without prompting you to stop it. This is called outbound protection, which the windows firewall doesn't do. The alternative firewalls will prompt you when something wants to talk to the outside world.

    Outbound protection is important, if you have some malware on the PC, but the more important aspect of a firewall, is to stop other people attacking you, just because you are on the internet (inbound protection), the windows firewall should do this, that can be tested here:
