Tax Credits - Signed off work

Hi this is really complicated (well it appears so to me!)
I work 15 hours for an employer, but work an extra hour for a friend enabling me to claim working tax credit. I charge my friend a small sum for the hour I do.
I have to complete a tax return for year ending Apr 09. However during this time I spent 3 months signed off sick. I submitted my sick note to my employer and received SSP and Ocupational sick pay. However I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do about the extra hour, as didn't seem worth claiming SSP via the benefits section for this one hour as only really had the one sick not which submitted to my employer.
Help???
