Home sold in 2006 but does not show up in price searches?

Hi,
I'm looking at a house, and according to the land registry records and the HIP it was last sold in 11/11/20006, from person to person. However it doesn't apppear on any price search sites..i.e www.houseprices.co.uk, www.nethouseprices.co.uk even though other houses on that street sold up to 2000 do appear.
Does anyone know why this might be? Curious to see what the current vendor paid.
Thanks

I know this doesn't help, but when we bought our house in Dec 2005, the sold price never appeared on any of these websites or Rigtmove Sold Prices.
Don't really know why not though.0 -
you are not alone. I also know of a property which never appeared where the owners (they were my potential future neighbours) told me when and how much they paid for it. Given all the info is suppoosedly sourced from the Land Registry which is the absolute record of all sales I have often wondered why only partial disclosures of sales info seems to occur.
Can you ask for your house details not be disclosed when you sell?0
