Exciting about the upgrade, always great when stuff like that happens.
As for the present maybe you could try and do something meaningful rather than expensive. Not got any great ideas but you may be able to think of something??0 -
hi Wendz - thanks for that
yeah I could I suppose, he's not a very sentimental person though that's the only problem with that - he's actually insisted I shouldn't get them anything because it's costing so much just to get to his wedding - but he's my brother you know? And he'll only get married once, hhhmmmmm....

Well - even more good news about the loan! The interest rate is fixed for the life of the loan, so even if I leave before it's paid off (and i hope to god I'm not still there in 5 years time!) The interest will stay fixed at 7.2%! :T

just got my credit report from Equifax, but I'm totally confuddled about how to read it!
I've heard people talk about their "credit score" but I can't seem to find one! Maybes I'm just being thick - but can anyone point me in the right direction of where to look?
Also - it seems 2003/4 wasn't a good year for me - I've a few payments which were late (5 in total, which I think were only a couple of days late - since I hadn't quite got my head round the whole DD system at the time!) - how long do these stay on your file - and just how damaging are they? I had 3 late payments to different companies in May '04, all showing a yellow circle with the number 1 in them, and they were the last on there - the rest are all green?

Eeeekkkkk!!! Just got home after a weekend at OH''s and opened my last payslip from my F/time job....
They've taken the week's worth of hols that I owed them off (boo hiss!!!) - but because they've changed the way they work the taxc (we used to be taxed on an average value of the car we could be driving, and now get taxed specifically on what we drive) I would've been £300 a month better off, so that extra £300 wipes out the wages I've lost covering the hols - a-whoo, a-hoo!!!!! :j:j:j:j:j:j
It's about time something like that went my way!!! :T
I'll update properly when I've time to sit down and do the sums! :eek:0 -
Ok - so today's to-do list.......
