Yeh if you have glass on your table n an optical mouse like myself. The mouse just jumps about the screen without one because the glass reflects the optical beam :)
I have an optical mouse but my table is just ordinary (not glass) my mouse works ok, never had any probs. Good to know about the glass though. 1a_y_wink.gif

Looks like you have to pay for the mouse mat from hotline group if you decide to keep the sample

When I've had samples from them before - they let you keep stuff that is under £2 free of charge

I was looking to replace a couple of mouse mats. Tried Ebay etc. but got them from ASDA in the end. Very cheap under a quid, Fellowes brand I think.
This site has saved me a fortune :money: ...it's also cost me a fortune!

    " Mousepad with transparent cover

ICL Mousepad. Thanks to the transparent cover, you can insert templates with useful phrases to use on the telephone.
Does panic set in when you have to speak on the telephone? Do you worry about how to speak to the person on the other end? Do you want to book a flight? A hotel room? Arrange an appointment?
The ICL Mousepad is what you need.
And, best of all, it’s absolutely free!

(Or you can insert a picture of your own choice )"

This was on another thread, posted recently by green pixey. I've sent for one, have yet to receive.

When you get this can you let me know whether it would be suitable for use at a pre-school. I noticed that the fabric of theirs has come away and the children are having difficulty moving around.
Criteria is that they need to be washable - loads of sticky fingers and all that.
    They need at least 4.

    Thanks

Anyone know where/if you can get blank mousepads to design yourself? (pref free...)

Frog still available but Packshot site is too slow still and timing out :( I think they are on to us :))))
