Accepted then declined!

Hi, tonight i applied for a RBS platimum CC so i could transfer my Vrigin Balance. I got to the final stage in the application. It said it had been "agreed", at this final stage i went for a fag, then came back to complete the deal!

My RBS session has timed-out in this time and informed me i had to re-submit myapplication, so I did, but this time i was declined!!

Any ideas why this would be or what i can do?

You were probs declined the second time as you had already applied once. I would suggest giving them a call to clarify.

Bad time to go for a fag! That must be a sign to quit ;p Sounds gutting though.

If memory serves, some forum users experienced something similar with Tesco cc online applications (same card issuer) recently.
