Hi. Haven't been before and I think it's the first year they've offered camping on-site. I assume (like most festivals) you can take alcohol in if you're camping but not into the stage areas.

My Splashmac arrived today and it's fab.

lol.... we should wear our slashmacs back to front that way you will know it one of us!! lol!!

    Good idea.

Or why don't we all just bring our 1100 litre water butts?

That should make us easier to spot!

We decided against this as unfortunatley unlikely to get a dog sitter at such short notice. ( plus am supposed to be somewhere else ) but this is a tremendous bargain- you moneysavers make sure you have a good time
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Oh, that's a shame, lynzpower. I was hoping we could meet and compare car boot wardrobes!

Thanks for posting this :) got in there just on time by buying the towel so will be going along as well. I reckon we will wait until we get the towel in the post to make sure we actually have tickets before booking camping.
Line up looks awesome, can't wait :)

I got in early with this offer and ordered my mac on Monday. My friend had just phoned and spoken to them, and they assured her that they had lots of macs and lots of tickets still available. I've just received a letter from them stating:
"Unfortunately, due to excessive demand the above item I]splashmac[/I is now unavailable, therefore the value of your order has been reduced accordingly."

No festival for me then - I'd be interested to know if anyone who ordered this on or after Monday 22nd actually manages to get their macs and tickets.

TBH I'm not too disappointed; I said all along that it was worth a punt at that price but that I wouldn't build my hopes up. There's a free festival in Coventry that weekend (line-up here), with the added bonus that I can walk there and back and won't need to find a dog-sitter. :)
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)
