Any opinions on this set of funds?
https://www.fidelity.co.uk/investor/research-funds/fidelity-funds/moneybuilder-funds/default.page?
From what I can gather they have low initial and annual charges. Worth investing in for the long term?
I'm looking at splitting my cash evenly between the UK Index Fund, European Index, Global Fund, and the Income Fund (corporate bonds). Would this be advisable, or would I be better just choosing 1 of these funds and going for similar other ones but with different companies/managers?
Thanks

In my opinion, though not without merit, the Fidelity MoneyBuilder funds are generally mediocre at best. The 'Income' fund is perhaps the best of the bunch.
The major selling point - low initial and annual charges - is, I feel, less relevant, in the era of widely-available, low-cost fund supermarket and WRAP propositions.
I feel that diversification across asset classes and funds (which, through your selections, you have achieved, to an extent) is very important. However, I also think it is important to diversify across managers.

Ultimately, in my opinion, this can only reduce risk. For the avoidance of doubt: I work for an IFA.0
