What has suddenly happened in West Bromich? Car industry suffering but has been going on for some time, what is worse about this past week than before?
Hasn't their building society gone extinct?“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

Oil prices, as I remember, where so high people started to use less.
Of what, chickens, or eggs?0 -
1984,
If you had bothered to listen to the guru on the TV you would have the answer you seek.
If you spent all your day at work, working, instead of skiving then you would have known what the guru on the net was saying as well.
No time for people like you.
1) When I listen to the news on TV I rarely believe it & always check out other sources involving a few hours research in order to gain a proper insight. That way I am hardly ever wrong.
2) I work for myself so if I want to skive I will.
3) I have only been on here a couple of times to sl*g a couple of idiots off because they are...... quite simply idiots.

Oh this board has gone absolutely mad this evening, but I would have thought that on what is claimed to be a turning point, that you would have much more disastrous things to talk about rather than West Bromage Building Society's demise.

Friday was a 'triple witching day' (aka Freaky Friday) in the markets. It's the day when index and individual stock options and futures expire as do some swaps. The following Monday there is inevitably some volitility as traders open new positions and the banks then look to hedge against those new positions.
'Triple witching' occurs on the 3rd Friday of March, June, September and December and generally it's a good idea to avoid trading on those days as a small investor (that includes things large amounts of FX - don't convert your life savings into Mexican Pesos to start your new life as a Giggolo/beach bum for example).0 -
