Tesco Extra in Cleethorpes has just had them installed.

Anyone know if they take Somerfield and Sainsbury's coupons using the scanner?

Self service tills at Havant too. Cash, coins and notes taken as well as cards.
Only used it once and it didn't deduct my BOGOF but it was only just up and running back then.
I assume that if you scan a coupon you keep it and can use it over and over, is this the case?

Nope, you have to insert the coupon into a special slot in the machine. You can't have your cake and eat it

you seem to be able to use most coupons from major supermarkets through the self scan at tescos, in the last month i have used £5.00 coupons from somerfield and sainsburys, and various coupons from asda and superdrug.

Tescos Crieff Rd Perth have self scanning tills but haven't tried them with or without coupons my trolley is usually filled to the gunnels and the last thing i can cope with even thinking about is self scanning! however if I spot any more drink coupons will def give it a go!

Alloa has self scan tills. Supervisor can be snippy about too many vouchers though.
