warning about Argos in St Albans (Griffins way)

Had the most crappy experience there,
Its the first time in my life i actuily filed a complaint against anyone in a store.

When you go in and you have a issue you expect them to speak to you in a civil manner and you speak to them in a civil manner

insted i was greated with a high and mighty manager who by his definition knows it all
Hes an expert in IT and Customer Service.

From the second the Manager walks up to me ,
insted of speaking like a normal person with any sort of respect, i was thrown with how the problem was my fault, each time i tried to say a word, i was greated with more crap coming out of his mouth.

ask him why i can speak in a civil manner and why hes acting so rude,

I can ask you to leave the store.

How do people like this become managers,

i worked in customer service for years and have had customers less abusive then him.

i asked him hasnt he heard of the term Treat others like you want to be treated before leaving, Blank face.

Seems strange... how did things escalate so badly? What was the initial problem?

    thats the thing,
i dont understand, i wasnt aggresive or rude.

the manager for some reason was a complete ***** and didnt want to listen insted just spout rubbish

also Intial problem was my head phones which i have replaced 5 times already always having the same problem
the plug for the headphones always broke or was faulty. i dont see the reason why i botherd with the insurance
  • My personal view is staff cut backs and the hot/muggy weather! Staff are under pressure all day trying to manage two people's workload and people get irritable in the heat and unfortunately you have got the rough edge of the stick. I would put your complaint in writing in as few words as possible - i.e. want money back/replacement and then vote with your feet - don't shop there again.
