Be open/honest answer the questions asked & dont feel the urge to waffle when the call goes quiet (when the interviewer is writing up notes)...get comfy tea/coffee & a pad to write bits down....make a note of any questions that come to mind tonight then you can ask tomorrow (not just the OR's question time your allowed as well!) #

And good luck (its not really half as bad as your imagining it will be!)

    Hi Hotsnowman
Good luck for tomorrow , but hey , wait a minute , whatever happens the debt will be cancelled right?
Now , he will be asking some questions to probe whether any blame can be put on you insofaras you delibrately borrowed money knowing full well you werent going to pay it back , that's the feeling I got.
I laid out a few a4 pages and put the months down when everything happened , dont volenteer information unless it is asked , he will be silent while he enters info on the file.
If you need a break , say so , and try and relax , I spare a thought for you tomorrow , I cant say its the most pleasant experience but it's better than paying back the debt , thats ther way to look at it , you know my attitude in the end I just lay back in the chair and thought OK , do your worst , I am at the lowest point here ,from here things can only go up.And they will.

Thanks. I've been going through the debts and looking at my earnings from the business - I'm pretty sure I will be kicked BRO/BRU for the overdrawn loan accounts - what a mess - I'm looking at the figures trying to justify the amounts and on paper, it just looks bad - I wouldn't feel so bad about it if we actually lived in an okay house with okay furniture.... I can't see it going well tomorrow - almost certain there will be a further face to face interview.

Thanks for the comments - bang on when you say this is the lowest point and it can only get better. The bottom line is that I've ran a poorly performing business, relied upon increases in the housing market on the houses we've lived in to sell and repay debt or re-mortgage and thought things were kind of okay - blinkered. What a learning curve. I'm not sure I would have come to this conclusion unless the OR meeting was set up.

    Thanks again. HS.
  • good luck for tomorrow, i have my interview next wednesday afternoon :(
