Thanks guys.
So, do you give false phone numbers to some, are there sites you avoid? Do you use your normal email address or have a spare?
And are there any tips of the trade (ie - like not passing your details on and scouring all the terms and conditions before joining?)0 -

Do you find it comes in fits and starts or do you never win/always seem to get something?
Definately, sometimes i get a few a month then sometimes nothing for a while,
Do you enter anything and everything or do you only enter those you want to win the prize form?
I only enter for things i know i want and i will use or that would be use to family and friends, I dont tend to enter for tickets for shows or baby stuff as i have no need for them
Have you ever entered anything with the thought of 'it'd sell well...!' if you won it?
I generally dont sell things, Its nice to win, Im not in it to make money its just a hobby that i enjoy.
Which ones do you do - is it just the ones ending soon, the regular ones or any at all?
just the ones posted each day for things i fancy, sometimes half an hour hear or there depends how im feeling on the day.
What's your best win?
£1500 from Real peopel maagzine two years ago. Meant i could go on Holiday to Egypt and treat myself to summer clothes. no one belived i had won it. I didnt myself until the Cheque arrived. All wins are appreciated however small.
Do they always turn up when you do win?
yes i have never had a problem , sometimes things just arrive in the post you had no idea coming
Why do you do it? For fun, for prizes? To win presents? To pass time?
All of the above. Its great to win something in the post and lovely if it can be a present for a loved one who will really appreciate it. I think i have become addicted though and its a great Forum here and i love seeing that we are all winning and what everyone has won especially the pictures of the wins.
Do the places giving the prizes away always contact you or have you ever been surprised to find out that you've won something only when it arrives?!
sometimes things have just arrived with no note and you spend ages trying to locate where it was from. always brightens up your day if its unexpected.

Do you find it comes in fits and starts or do you never win/always seem to get something?
Sometimes I can get a steady run of a couple small wins a week but there was a time I won nowt for three whole months despite entering the same amount of comps!!!
Do you enter anything and everything or do you only enter those you want to win the prize form?
I only ever enter for things I can use or give as a pressie to someone - I like to leave the other comps for people who REALLY want to win the prize.
Have you ever entered anything with the thought of 'it'd sell well...!' if you won it?
No but I have entered for something where I wasn't 100% sure what the prize was and I thought 'I can sell it as a last resort if it's no good to me'.
Which ones do you do - is it just the ones ending soon, the regular ones or any at all?
I usually do the comps ending the following day and the daily comps - don't have time to do the weekly ones and monthly ones usually.
What's your best win?
£500 worth of gardening equipment but to date I have entered about 50,000 comps to get it!
Do they always turn up when you do win?
I've not had a prize not turn up at all although I have waited 4 or 5 months for things in the past.
Why do you do it? For fun, for prizes? To win presents? To pass time?
For fun and to make friends!
Do the places giving the prizes away always contact you or have you ever been surprised to find out that you've won something only when it arrives?!
Sometimes they ring, sometimes they email, sometimes they write and sometimes they just appear. I have had more surprise wins than ones I was expecting though.
Thanks to everyone who posts comps, I love winning prizes big and small

Do you find it comes in fits and starts or do you never win/always seem to get something?
Umm I have only been comping since middle of feb. And feel I have been extremely lucky. I have won around 4 grands worth of prizes. I tend to get a win every one to two days at the moment , so seems to be steady at the mo. But as I said not been comping for too long so just enjoying the winning streak at the moment:j
Do you enter anything and everything or do you only enter those you want to win the prize form?
I do enter comps that i want to win or comps that I know others friends/ family will enjoy
Have you ever entered anything with the thought of 'it'd sell well...!' if you won it?
Nope ; but if i needed the cash I would sell
Which ones do you do - is it just the ones ending soon, the regular ones or any at all?
I do ones ending a day or couple days before ending date
What's your best win?
A Bafta Bag worth over £500
Do they always turn up when you do win?
Nope not always , recently found out I had won tickets to a gig from a winners list put on mse, however was never contacted by prize company so iI had to chase them - after over a week received a goody bag to compensate. Also never received some of my cadburys wins
Why do you do it? For fun, for prizes? To win presents? To pass time?
Oh definatley fun, love entering. But I do love to win and get great prizes
Do the places giving the prizes away always contact you or have you ever been surprised to find out that you've won something only when it arrives?!
Nope not always. My Bafta bag just turned up out of the blue.
Have also had books, cds . tickets etc just turn up - I find it all very exciting not to know or expect things

What would you achieve by giving a false phone number? They might be trying to ring you to say you had won!0
