Crack for my Compacks 6972 DVD player.

I have a compacks 6972 from Amazon but it is only region 2 and I would like to make it multi-region. Anyone know how to do that please?

Have tried to google it and only seem to get a guy selling them for twice the price on Ebay.
The company's own site show how to multi-region the various models http://www.wwrs.compacks.com/mut_men.htm
but unfortunatley not including mine and each is entirely different. Many thanks

According to the Amazon web-site, this player is multi region out of the box. A daft question perhaps, but have you tried to play a Region 1 disk for example to see if it works?
