I want to cancel my vanquois bank credit card and arrange a repayment but I was given a no for an answer by the bank. Even since my debt has thrippled with so much interest to pay and missed payment chargers. I dont know who to talk to

Is it possible to move the balance to a new card in your partner's name, if there is one?
Meanwhile, I'd concentrate on paying off as much as possible each month. Clearing this debt ASAP will reduce the interest you pay and you'll be building a better credit history in the process. This, in turn, reduces the risk that Vanquis will raise your interest rates again.
If you're struggling to meet the minimum payments required, you may want to post again on the *Debt-Free Wannabe* board. You'll get advice and support there from users, who have faced similar situations
