Praise for Bell Car Insurance

I'm a relatively new driver, so searching for cheap insurance when you have 0 no claims bonus is not easy. I found Bell who offered me the best deal by a long shot. I got the legal etc to be safe and, of course, hoped to never use it.
Anyway, just after my 10 month bonus accellerator year was up, I was involved in an accident, basically someone 2 cars ahead of me stopped really quick, I emergency stopped but the 2 cars behind me didn't. Car was a write off and I had whiplash. After calling the AA who were also really nice and helpful (although I would have had to pay for a tow) I called Bell and was expecting a really poor level of service (a cheap insurer happy to take people with no no claims)
What I did get was extremely helpful service, they would have towed my car (it was ok to drive in the end, AA man followed me all the way home too!) they offered to pay for all my travel expenses to and from hospital and even the trip to my parents I was intending on making that night if they couldn't get a courtesy car to me.
As it turned out, I had a brand new courtesy car within about 4 hours of the accident and everything has gone exceptionally smoothly since.
I've been so pleasantly surprised with this service especially as I have heard very bad things about some bigger names (Churchill, Norwich Union) treating their long-running customers badly.

That's good news for you.
But, Bell isn't a small insurer. It's part of the Admiral Group. Which owns Elephant, Diamond, Confused.com, Gladiator, and a number of Europe-based insurers.0
