Bought item off play.com

ordered a hard drive enclosure from play.com and they instead sent me a card reader! , i emailed them immediately and they said that they had sent me the correct item in the mail and would i send them the incorrect item "amec".

item never arrived and after numerous emails to them i get no answers to my questions.

does anyone know what if any protection i have under uk law against this?

    Have you sent the wrong item back to them yet?

    Have you tried calling them?
    If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

  • I wouldnt deal with Play again. They are not based in the UK and therefore are not bound by UK law, if an item goes faulty they make you contact the manufacturer and deal with the refund (outwith a months period). This happened to a friend of mine.

    Its a poor show I dont know why people bother with it.
