WEIRD SIUATION - Credit Cards and change of address

in Credit cards
Im in a strange situaton at the moment, i am self employed and money is tight for me like it is with most folks at the moment.
As part of my work i will be travelling through Europe visiting many citys for the next 9-12 months. I have bought a camper van and i am going to live out of it for the duration of my travels. My company cannot afford to pay for hotels and it is much more cost efficient to use a camper van.
I have changed my business address to that of a virtual address company who can forward my mail to locations that i can specify as i travel.
The problem i am having is a couple of my credit card companies refuse to accept my new 'virtual' address, i understand why they dont want to accept is but i can not affort to pay £800 a month for my flat when i am not going to be living there for a year, I have no option but to go against the CC companies wishes. Has anyone been in this situation? Can they refuse to aknowledge my virtual address? I dont want to cause trouble with them but there is no way i will comply with them, it is just unreasonable that i should pay rent on an apartment merely for the privelege of having letters delivered.
Any advice is appreciated.

can you get a friend to accept your mail and forward it on?0
-
Could you not get a Royal Mail redirection from your old address to your virtual address who can then forward it?0
-
They refuse your virtual address because there is no true address. They might even close your accounts if you pester them. Try the redirection above.0

Indeed - the royal mail redirection is the way to go!0

Go paperless and service your account online.0
