hi im a single parent with 2 young children one i get dla for and carers allowance i am considering moving in with my partner but i dont know how it will affect me financially hes self employed and only earns aprox 180 per week currently i get housing benefit and council tax paid but am worried if we move in together we may not be able to afford it can somebody tell me how it works?

he works and his earnings are 180 per week he then has to pay the taxman whatever he has to at the end of every tax year but because hes self employed his wages go up and down theres never a set amount hes self employed under a company so he only earns what work comes in its not down to him is that any more help0
