We have a Nationwide Flex account and want to take advantage of getting cash out of the ATM machines for free. Do we have to use the machines in the banks ? If so which banks, I am guessing that if we use a machine in a Deli etc we will be charged a fee ! Anyone had any experieces ?

Most, if not all ATM's will charge you a fee of $1.50 - $2.50 if withdrawing cash in the US. Nationwide won't charge you, but the issuing bank will. Free banking is not the norm in the US like it is here.0 -
Where in NY are you staying? I was lucky in Queens they had a HSBC and I wasn't charged at all from what I can see.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 0650
