Westgate Department Store Cancellation Fee

I ordered a super king size bed from Westgate in Keighley on one of their 10% off, 12 months interest free, bank holiday offers. I'd measured up the route the bed would take to the bed room and was content that it would fit. On arrival it was evident that it would in fact not fit under the door frame at the bottom of the stairs (190cm), given that the base was split length ways (200cm) and all my previous beds had been split width ways. The bed had to go back. At this point the delivery men informed me there would be a 20% cancellation fee! Checking the paperwork afterwards this was true although the terms and conditions were quite basic and on the reverse of the sheet I signed. I was not made aware of the cancellation fee at the time of the sale and was not shown the terms and conditions before signing all the pieces of paper. I rang a lady up at the store, whom's name I had been given by the delivery men. And she informed me that the fee would be £144 to cover delivery cost of £80 apparently. She also said, in quite an intimidating manner that finace agreement can not be cancelled until this fee is paid. I'd be quite happy to to pay for the delivery & transportation costs - that is fair, but am reluctant to pay any more than that since they are going to sell this bed to another buyer. I am worried about the finance agreement however, as I have not recieved any goods for it. Do I have any rights or is there anyone I can speak to to determine my rights in this case. Thank you.
