Sammy said there wasn't enough proof Global warming was man made, not that Global warming isn't happening. That's probably an avenue the Greens don't want to go down, so they refuse to hear it and start claiming he said something else.

I think it's a very important argument because it will prevent the Global tree huggers from making us feel guilty that we're in some way responsible, so we should pay deaer for green items and buy into ethical crap.

Lets say a proper independent Global investigation was done about Global warming and the majority of the scientists involved agreed that Global warming wasn't man-made and our input to tackle this change will not have any effect........what will the green tree-huggers say about their propaganda campaigns trying to somehow blame the ordinary person for the changes? will they apologise for manipulating us into buying ethical goods? will they apologise for telling us to run about like headless chickens switching off switches? will they give us back the cash they made from us?

realistically though, turning off switches, thermostats down = less usage = less money spent by us, so while you may not agree with the reasons behind it, doesn't do any harm does it?

Its a good thing to use less energy, especially when we burn so much fossil fuel, but being brainwashed into thinking we have to flick the switch or that we're somehow involved in bringing this planet to its knees is a different story altogether. Its stinks more of Global control and control of us than about protecting the planet.

I reckon Global warming has bypassed Larne, longer, hotter, drier summers............. haven't seen one yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!;)
