How do I insure my daughter for holiday next week?

Me and my girlfiend and 5 year old daughter are going on holiday next week.
I get travel insurance with my ultimate reward account.
My girlfriend bought the travel agents insurance at £25 when we booked the holiday.

I am now trying to get my daighter insurance, however when IO try money supermarket it says that someone over the age of 18 must be included in the policy. Shhould I just insure me and my daughter, even though I am already insured with my bank account?

You can get a policy for a minor alone, (eg http://www.travel-away.com/ - check their faqs), or speak to a broker.

You could try checking with your bank as most usually offer it as a 'family package'.

In an ideal world you should take a policy out with the same Insurer who cover you and your partner. If you do this it is much much easier if you need to make a claim for instance if you need to come back from your holiday early. Imagine the problems of ringing two different companies and the possibility of one company agreeing to cover it and the other not agreeing or delaying giving you a decision
