I want to find new surpplier - not Scot Power

Hi,
I'm with Scottish Power for about 8 months. I'v got the hump because they have told me I'm surpplied by Independent Gas surpplier, so added about £40 a year to gas bill.
I use the duel fuel online discount package.
I have a 4 bed house, how can I find a cheaper surplier, if I use the price comparison sites will they take into account the Independent Gas Surpplier?
