I don't understand why they goods are being delivered to the home address and then loaded to be taken to the address they are working at.

Deliver 10 pallets of tiles to the house, take 3 pallets for a job on Monday, 2 pallets for a job on Tuesday, leave remainder for next job...?

But moving them costs time surely. When I've had building work done the builder has arranged for the supplier to drop them direct to my home address.

I went down the road opposite today and there was a huge pile of topsoil sitting on the pavement. One of the neighbours was busy taking pictures as he is incensed that when he takes his wife out in her wheelchair he had to go out into the road.
