I've got to pay back arrears of £5200 due to the CSA'a numerous !!!! ups despite being told about them by myself and my ex.
At first they wanted the whole lot in one go to which i told them to go away they then stated that they must have the arrears paid back within 2 years. However after speaking to my solictor he stated that 2 years was mearly a guideline and told me to offer to pay what I could over a longer period.
Armed with this I went back to the CSA who said I could pay it back over 3 years.
Not happy with having to pay it back due to their errors but I have no choice.

If the CSA made mistakes appeal don't just take it.

My solictor advised that there is very little you can do to fight the csa. He also stated that if the mistakes were not made in the first place that I would have paid the money anyway.
I AM however going back to my MP who used his powers to get my case reviewed to see if he can help in any way.
One thing I would recommend to anyone if the csa won't listen... get your MP involved.
