BT are being weird

I have had troubles with BT for years. I have had my account terminated three times in the 33 years I have been with them. Each time I have paid my bill in full before BT would allow me back online.

Last month I bought a prepaid card and put £200 on it to pay a £89 bill from BT as well as paying Sky and handling internet transactions, etc, etc. I called BT and told them here is the money please credit my account. They said no and we argued for 2 months. I got a letter from a debt collector asking for £39 and went to CAB. They called the debt collector who said it was for my current bill and so they said they would take payment and I would be put back on immediately and my account would be clear. I was back on two days later.

Now, I have been cut off again. BT claim that was for an old bill I hadn't paid, there are no old bill and unless I pay the missing £89 plus £40 for the two weeks I was on, I will not get back on. But I would not have been able to get back on in the first place if my account was not clear and I was told my account was clear.

I will be getting a copy of those bills from BT and will talk to CAB but I can't understand why I am getting this hassle from BT. Don't have that much money oon the card any more as I thought I was clear and used the money on Sky and other things.
Time is more valuable than money. You can get more money but you can't get more time
