Alright then. The idea of visiting a salon to have people take hair off me, while laying there like a.., well just laying there really, is up in my idea of worst possible experiences. Bad enough going to the barber.
After a doing a marathon a couple of years ago my feet were in a bit of a state, even a good few weeks afterwards. As a present (!), Mrs C bought me a pedicure. There's me, with my hoofs out, in a small room with just candles and plinky plonky music with a very good looking 20 year old girl playing with my feet (well, filing hard bits off them, like you used to sand wood to make it smooth in woodwork class). It was one of the strangest, most awkward experiences of my life.
Haven't had one since. I think bloke's feet should look like bloke's feet.0 -
I sent mine for a back wax......he refused to let any female near anything else with hot wax and rubber gloved hands.
Whale music, exotic flower on couch...and no, he didn't make a joke about extras...but really wanted to....he's a bit like you two.
Never went back. It's one of those topics that now just gets ignored.;)
Hair free is a fashion fad..like tattoos.
Everyone was au-naturel in the eighties...and like the way you can age someone by looking at their teeth (70's NHS dentistry was appalling and ruined the teeth of a whole generation)...so you could line 'them' up and guess the age purely based on body hair removal styles.
I think I really ought to log off now...don't want to get DJ's thread locked for not being on topic.0 -

Sorry, yes, worth then. I would worry about spiders & other creepy things in a thatched roof. Well mostly spiders. So it'd be worth less to me than to someone braver.0
