in Credit cards
Hi All,
I have decided to have a go at stoozing and have read as much information as I can find.
My anniversary month with Egg is January so I am planning to SBT the full £15K limit.
We have also applied for the Sainsburys card to use for all purchases.
My partner has just applied for an egg card and has been accepted with a £10K limit. Again this will be SBT'd.
Question is the best way to plan ahead for future stoozing.
Thanks

Not sure you can plan as such. I'd say it's important to take things slowly early on and not apply for too many cards. As things progress you can feel your way. If you get a rejection, which most of us do at sometime, stop applying for a few months.
Always read the T & C's of each card as they differ from each other and even the same card can differ between individuals.
Good luck and welcome :D0 -
I agree take it steady at first. Read Martin's info VERY carefully. For example some cards NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER EVER spend on them, just use them for BTs!
Good luck

Thanks SS. As someone who has always paid off my credit cards in full every month for the past 15 years, it is taking some time to grasp the whole stoozing process.
I'm struggling to understand how some people build up pots of £50K to £100K and how to keep moving this amount around different credit cards.
I also struggle with the concept of using the Egg card as a routing mechanism.
I'm sure I'll get there eventually !0 -

Hi Gambler
A gentle reminder - once you've SBTd your 15k in January leave your Egg card in the drawer until 1 May! Use your partner's lovely new Egg card to do all the hard work while yours is out of action0 -
Don't bother using the sainsburys card for purchases - balance transfer (I assume they offer a 0% deal) the lot into your savings account (via Egg) and use a cashback card for your purchases which is paid off in full each month from the (new) savings...
Thus you harness the full limit straight away and get 0.5% on all purchases.0 -

If you haven't already come across it, take a look at https://www.stoozing.com which is a set of FAQs for making money out of credit cards. That combined with Martin's revenge article will equip you well for Stoozing.
