What a shock. I've still not received this letter they claimed they had sent me.
Call them up and tell them that they cashed the cheque on 28th May 2009. Normally a SAR is sent recorded delivery so ask them to trace where they have sent your information since you have received nothing. Tell them that you will report them to the ICO because they have failed to provide details under the Data Protection Act 1998 even though they have sufficient information(they cashed the cheque is evidence). Ask them where they sent the info as well.

On the phone to them now. The guy I spoke to first claims there is no way someone spoke to me about this before as my account is not setup for telephone banking. He has now transferred me to someone he said could help, but she is saying that she cant access it either so can't tell me anything either and thinks I should call 01952 206427 I am getting sick fed up of this.

According to the 01952 number there has been no letter sent nor any record of my call to them on 22/06/09.
