Bank of Scotland - any help?

Just wondered if anyone would be able to help me with this.
I originally re-claimed my charges (£3k plus from two accounts) about a year and a half to two years ago and got the standard "bog off and we'll deal with you later" letter.
Saw that you could claim under hardship (have major debts and drop in income) so sent off asking to claim under that.
I then got a letter asking me to complete a financial statement, which I did and sent back about a week ago.
I was just wondering if anyone has had a positive outcome recently from BoS and if so how long did it take you to get any money due paid out?
Thanks

Just thought I'd post a wee update.
Phoned the customer realtions (number on the letter I got from them) to ask what was happening as it has been over a week since I sent the financial statement to them.
I was advised that they had received it and it has been passed through to the C&R department yesterday.
Apparently they have a two week turnaround time, but the guy I spoke to was really nice and said that he'd mark it as urgent and took my mobile number so that they can let me know as soon as decision is made.

Right - just off the phone to them again!!!
They've apparently sent me a letter offering me £112 - they owe me over £3.5K!!!!!
Obviously I'm not going to accept it, so just waiting on them faxing it through to me then I'm going to reply that I don't want to accept it and will be contacting the Financial Ombudsman.
Wish me luck!!!

Why are you refusing £112?
Do you have priority debt arrears(mortgage/rent, council tax, utilites)?
Are there any payment plan in place to pay off the arrears on the above?0 -

Well - would you accept £112 when you were reclaiming over £3.5k?!?!?!?!
And yes, I do have debts which need to be cleared including CT and these are currently being repaid at a very small amount each month due to my financial situation. The bank was made aware of this before most of the charges were applied to my account as well, so I think I am very justified in expecting more than £112 back from them.
Would never guess you work for a bank btw!!!!! :rolleyes:0 -

Under Financial Hardship, I wouldn't reject it as the full claim cannot be settled in full anyway under the FSA waiver on bank charges.

Are you saying that there are repayment plans in place to pay off the arrears owing?
How much will £112 cover of those priority debts? Is the account over the overdraft limit.

I hope you don't mind me commenting on the bit in bold but I have to.
I will help you but you have your facts wrong,. I have been in the bank charges campaign over 3 years and the last 4 months have been outside of the bank. I was sacked on 11th February 2009. I spend hours on internet forums. I understand you don't like my comments but I haven't insulted you so please can we not go down that route and concentrate on your case specifically.0
