 I was in Paris a couple of weeks ago and treated myself to a bar of very posh milk chocolate by Michel Cluizel from the Galeries Lafayette department store. Not very money saving at €3+ a bar but it contained 45% cocoa solids. That's MILK chocolate. It was fab but a one-off treat.
I do prefer Tesco value to the normal stuff though. The value stuff seems to be made in France whilst the normal stuff is made in the UK. Probably why. One thing the French whup our asses at is chocolate. Even better is the Tesco finest milk chocolate which has a praline taste due to ground hazelnuts in the recipe. Again, not very money saving!0 -
Just made these, I added some milk and this seemed to make them fluffier, Dh will have them tomorrow in his Lunchbox, thanks again.Pawpurrs x0

All I can think that might be going wrong is maybe you are using a fan assisted oven? I can't get on with them and everything goes wrong in them for me.
The size of the dish I use to cook it in is 10" long, 5 " wide and 3" deep and it's made from Pyrex.
I daren't look...:D
I used apricot and plum to use up what was left of my farmaround delivery. If it goes wrong I'll try it in a flatter dish next time.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -
I used to use a recipe like this but the omelette was cooked in one casserole dish and then we cut it up into portions. From what I remember it was very filling! Like the idea of making it up into individual portions. Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

BS, I did a swearch for your cobbler and only just realised that I'm on a different thread. The cobbler was lovely but I will use a shallower dish next time. DH says thanks too. This is too easy not to make often.
But your mini omlettes are ideal. I'll be trying them soon. I didn't know cake tins came in sixes. I think mine is 12, but I suppose that'll just be a bit quicker in the cooking.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0
