Re McCoys promotion... if you have free texts allowance in your mobile phone package, then send the code to the number given on the pack for ROI consumers (+447624800154) and the text should be free.

sorry! i got my mobile phone bill today and it turns out that i was wrong. Although it looks like a normal mobile phone type number, it is charged at 10p (the same price that the 80035 number provided for uk residents is charged at)... oops!

No, that's part of the problem today, feeling really down in the dumps about it.

The guy linked to the dealer (their insurance rep I think) just doesn't return my calls despite me and the dealer leaving messages all the time. He's a bit rubbish. When I did manage to speak to him last week he said he should have it sorted by the weekend but nothing. And the one company that said they might be able to do something hasn't got back to me since they phoned for more details nearly a week ago. So today I phoned round all the insurance companies I could find and asked if they would insure me on a bike I don't own, and they all said no. Balls. So now I have to go back to the dealer and say at the moment I can't actually take them up on their offer. It's carp.

What am I doing wrong? I'm trying to do a Google search for comps ending 30/06 and I'm entering E: 30/06 but only getting one or two? That is how you do it isn't it?

Yea that's this rep guy I've been dealing with - he just seems a bit pants. The dealer even said - oh you'll have to leave messages as he never answers his phone. Hmph.

If you've got a contact I could try I'd be very very very happy to have it - I've run out of options.

That's the way I try to look at things, but the trip is now just over two weeks away and I was so excited last week when they offered me the bike - we're in the local paper today and it just made me cry as I go on about borrowing this bike and how fab it is but at the moment I can't actually ride it. I hate feeling like this.

    I'm so sorry everyone.
