Cis hope you are ok x Here's a beer to you  (having one to keep my tension levels in control)
Just want to say that some people think they are funny and friendly when they are actually telling a joke as thick as them  so forget it x Like you said tomorrow you will have put all this behind you (hopefully some wins will help)

aww, people seem a bit down atm.
Hugs to all that need/want them.
I've just got in touch, via facebook, with an old friend from school, and found out that the new singer, Little Boots, is his cousin! (Have been following her on twitter for a while knowing that she was from Blackpool)
Just been listening to some of her music on i-tunes and it'squite good. And just seen on youtube, she was on jools holland show, and sounded really good on there.0 -
All the talk about sweets has made me reminisce about the days when I was a young lad and they had a 1/4 (farthing) penny box and a 1d penny box if you was a bit short you would go for 4 for a 1d or if you was a bit flush you would go for 1 for a 1d and if you where reallly flush you would go for a bag of crisps at 6d and they only had one flavour with little bags of salt !
my favourites where 1d arrow bars and Bazooka gum with the little comic inside, liqourice sticks and a what they said was a liqourice stick that looked like a piece of wood and err tasted like a piece of wood! which was indigestable and had to be spat out as soon as it was chewed ! :rotfl:
another favourite of mine was the lucky bags which where never lucky (you only found platistic rings and toys in them) but try telling me that I would never find a gold or diamond ring in one of the bags!
I sometimes wish that we could all be like Peter Pan and never grow up and never be subjected to the harsh realites of adult life and we could all live in the sweet innocence of childhood
I also wish that we could go back to the morality etiquette and parental values of my day as the liberalistic values of today have simply gone astray!
alas the people and children of today are to bogged down with human rights and health and safety and goverment health warnings that they forget the real meaning of life and that is to just to simply enjoy life!!
sorry for the rant but iv'e had a drink and it oft sets my mind a wandering and makes me think
now there's another thing what ever happened to smoking rooms and off sales in pubs!
think that I'd better sign of now as otherwise i'll be here all night! (sometimes it's not so good to reminisce)
yours sincerely
a dodderingly old get who's doing his best not to forget
hope that I don't regret posting this tomorrow!!:o:o
Best of Luck

Oh and don't forget rainbow dust.
used to buy a quarter of rainbow dust, and get fingers all sticky from licking them.
And treat of the fairground, candy floss.
My mum always used to say to us 'No your not having that, you'll get all sticky'
Trick was to ask Dad, cause he loved it as well:rotfl:0 -
