PMS - invite them. That way you're at least giving them the choice of whether or not they go. If the girl is not at Brownies tonight I might take the card to the Sure Start centre with a stamp on the envelope & ask them to pass it on for me, I know they are not allowed to give address out but do you think they could do this for me? I wouldn't do the invite this way as I don't know if that's inapproipate really.

PMS invite them when my sister died 4 years ago and left three kids once the funeral was past only oldest went to it I booked a holiday and my youngest sister took them off for a fortnight while i sorted out house etc and they seemed to settle with the holiday and coming home to a fresh start although they still miss their mum now i think it's better for them at a young age to try and keep everything as near routine and normal as possible0
