  • Hello all.

Booked the hall for LO's party yesterday, can't beleive me baby is going to be 3 soon.

Want to keep the costs down as much as possible so need ideas from you lot what to do for the kids. It's going to be a fancy dress party & I can get party supplies cheap (hats, party poppers, party bags, toys for party bags etc) so just need ideas how to keep them entertained for 2 hours! Someone reccomended a entertainer but they want £85 for 2 hours which I really don't want to spend if I can help it.

Looking on eBay for costumes but some of them are going for rediculous money, I got her a lovely Tigger one yesterday (M&S, Disney one with tags on!) from a charity shop for £3.50! Need to get DD something as I think all hers are getting too small now!

Ideas from anyone on here PLEASE!!! It's for a 3 year old but will be older& younger children there as well so want to be able to keep them all entertained (think ages will range from 11 months to 15 years - what am I letting myself in for LOL???)

  • Thanks Krailton, we should be able to do face painting & the games you mentioned are fab.

Forgot to say it's a huge hall with seperate kitchen, if the weather is nice there is also an outdoor area but we can't actually 'book' that as it's classed as council propety but we can use it if no-one else is.

Was going to do boxes for the kids with sandwich, crisps, drink, chocolate bar, lolly & party bag toys in then do a buffet for the adults/older kids. Boxes similar to these http://www.funkydorypartybags.co.uk/plain-coloured-party-boxes-456-p.asp for the kids. Hoping to keep it a little less messy LOL We have the hall for 4 hours, 2 hours for the party & an hour either side for preparing/cleaning up.
