Hi guys

Phew just back from the food shopping and managed to get a nice Italian wine but no Magnums (did not find any in the store) :eek::eek: OH got me 2 packs that have no promotion on last night :eek::eek::eek::eek:

Anyway, got back to a good letter from my Sponsor (just being really a bit more generous in terms of sponsorship time, which in reality means nothing moneywise or PhD wise I consumed my chances and I am basically self-sponsored now with part-time wages but it is nice to know that they are helpful)

Also my supervisor did not object to sending him my work on Sunday so positive response but a mountain to climb (few Magnum sticks would have kept me going at night )

Also thanks to Northern lass, I got a L'Oreal hair set (gel and wax) that will make OH and nephew happy ....(none is having both! )

So a day of work I suppose, what a waste of a beautiful Sunny day x

Hi all. Back from a lovely lunch with friends and their babies. It's my friend's LOs 1st birthday today so we all met up for lunch. Was really nice. First time ever I think I've been comfortable around children actually, I didn't feel nervous at all actually. Hmmm.

They've just announced a new top man at work. Actually it's a top woman but that's ok LOL! Should make things interesting over the next year or so. Looking at her history there are a couple of things which jump out at me... definitely a strategic appointment in my opinion.

No rain here yet although the sky looks like it's gonna burst any minute. Hope not.

It has been a strange week, been in a lot of pain and also been upset - yesterday my mum went to visit my uncle and he gave her something from my aunty for us both - she came home and we opened them together - she had given me a gold bracelet - it was hers. She had put everyones and gift boxes and gift bags and written on them all who they were for, i wonder how long ago she did it? Even when she was dying she was thinking of us. It was only then that her death suddenly seemed real.

The hydrotherapy - its hard to tell if it is working as it hasn't been consistant.

Sorry to go on - its been a very hard week for me xxxx
