Post Office Credit Card Fixed Rate Payment Plan

I understand that my PO CC allows me to have purchases between £500 and £2000 in value put on to their "special fixed rate payment plan of 6.8%".

How does this work? Do I need to phone Post Office CC before making the purchase, or do I make the purchase and then phone them up and ask them to transfer it?

How do you rate the PO's credit card. Have you ever been with another CC company?

The only reason I applied for it was because of the fee-free international transactions, which is awesome if you use it overseas because you get the full interbank/mastercard exchange rate and no loading fee. This payment plan feature is also pretty neat.

The online banking is a shambles, but other than that I am impressed :T

Sorry can't answer your question. But they also have some kind of anniversary 0% BT offer. (Or they did when I applied...) I thought that looked good...
