Credit card for travelling - start work in September

in Credit cards
Hi,
I am graduating university this summer and currently have no income (and am far into my overdraft!), but will be starting work in September, and will be receiving an interest-free loan from my employer (so therefore would be able to pay off in full the outstanding balance on my credit card). I would like to go travelling at some point this summer, but this seems pretty impossible without a credit card. I already have a Capital One credit card (although I haven't had it for long), but the interest on it is over 30%.
Are there any credit cards with low/0% interest that I might be able to get in my situation? I am living with my parents at the moment, so would household income have any impact on whether I would be accepted?
Any help would be appreciated!

I would say your chances of obtaining a 0% credit card whilst unemployed are virtually nil. Maybe a better option is for your parents to apply for one and add you as an additional cardholder.
'Household income' generally means self and spouse/civil partner, not parents.0 -
Thanks for the reply, frustrating when I know I will have an income soonish! May have to get the parents to help me out.0

Add it to the money they've given you through uni and pay it back when you get a job
it's what I did ... cost me a small fortune that I paid back in full, but I did manage to personally keep the Barony Bar at Strathclyde Uni in business during my time there
