Had loads of problems with my PC over the last few days. The avast anti-virus kept going doollally so have got rid of it and installed kaspersky (loads of issues on my hard drive but that's a different problem!)
Basically. I had set up the xbox wireless connection previously, but have managed to balls this up with all the messing about getting the antivirus running again. At one point I deleted and re-installed the virgin wireless manager.
So to cut to the chase I have
Xbox 360 with xbox wireless adapter.
Virgin media wireless network with netgear.
the xbox can find the 'home' network setup but fails to conecct to it.
I have tried using windows connect (saving settings onto a flash drive from the pc) but the xbox said the 'device' did not support windows connect or was corrupted.
I have tried entering the wpa key and god knows what else.
Last time I connected the xbox to my home network it seemed pretty straightforward so I am obviously doing something wrong
I am fed up with the pc, the xbox and basically anything with a plug attached to it.
Hope someone can make sense of these garbled ramblings.
