HSBC to First Direct- can I still get £100?

I bank with HSBC, but am interested in switching to First Direct then back again in six months to make £200.
As the two banks are connected, does anyone know if I am still eligible for the offer?
Thanks :-)

Yes - it doesn't affect it at all.Whilst my posts do not constitute financial advice, I am always, without fail, 100% right!0

Oh, I mean, I got the 100 quid for switching, but I think I'm staying, so can't comment on the 200...Now: off-set mortgage *up-and-running*...

I switched to First Direct from HSBC, and then away again, and got £200.
Keep in mind that even though they say the switch away is "no questions asked", my experience was very different. I had to explain in great detail why i wanted to leave to three different people, and then put the same thing in writing, to get my £100 for leaving. You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.0 -
Hi, I have a HSBC account as well (a Plus account). I would like to know how to switch to First Direct. Do I need to close my existing HSBC Plus account then open a new First Direct account then after 6 months "switch" back to HSBC by opening a new HSBC account again?0

as long as you have never banked with fd before
&
you transfer your salary (>£1,500pm)
you shouldnt have a problem. banking with hsbc directly shouldnt matter.
and dont forget, there is also a refer a friend scheme where a referrer earns £50, over and above the £100 you make. i am sure someone will be willing to share their bonus with you. check the referrers board.0 -
for the 1,500pm, can I transfer it as a standing order from my HSBC plus account to the newly open FD account? As I don't really want to give the new bank account details to my HR manager then after 6 months change it again...and just in case things get screwed up in process...0

based on what i have heard so far, it has to be salary hitting directly from employer. others can comment more on this one.0 -
You can get round the minimum deposit of £1500 per month, by opening more of their products.
I have 2 savings accounts along with my current account, and as long as you "own" 3 of their products, there is no minimum deposit required!0
