hi, need a bit of help here have been up in the loft searching for things to sell.and came across our old amiga a1200. It has all the original instruction manuals, leads, software monitor etc and to be honest with you was hardly used.It also has about 50+ floppy discs with games on etc still sealed i think most are probably from magazines but not all. I dont have a clue how much this is worth or where the best place to sell it is and was wondering if anyone else had any ideas?
i apologise if i have posted in the wrong place and feel free to move me.
thanks x

Like everything else, it's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.
I don't like eBay but it's probably your best bet. Try for a long auction and be prepared to ship abroad to maximise on it.Try saying "I have under-a-pound in my wallet" and listen to people react!0 -
There is one on Ebay with a BIN price of £75 and £20 delivery, I don't think you'll get much for it but test it out and give it a go.0

I sold one a few years ago. I had an expansion card, some kind of CPU Booster thing as I recall and a 20MB Hard Drive inside.
I sold it with about a million floppies for £50.0 -
Gave away an old Commodore 64 on freecycle not so long ago, along with an old IBM PC, an old fax machine, two CRT monitors and a very old Dell Optiplex, one of the old ones with the daughterboards for PCI cards.Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.0

I'd do that as it's worth !!!! all at the moment and if you have a fit of nostalgia you may want to get it down
as for it being worth a mint in a few years time I doubt it will ever be worth much tbh
I sold a heavily upgraded A500 awhile back with a stack of games for a fiver0 -

Don't joke, classic Roland keyboards are worth thousands today, a few ancient Apple's are collectable, as are very early Spectrums... all command very good prices.
Try ebid rather than ebay which is losing the plot!0 -
if you want to sell it on ebay, may i suggest after you have put all the information down, you then goto this amiga forum which is full of amiga nuts including me, http://eab.abime.net/forumdisplay.php?f=25 and post the ebay link there, you'll need to register with the forum, then you'll have them bidding against each other, i used to own an amiga1200, still got my A600 and i still have 2 commodore 64's, hell i even have the amiga emulator WinUAE on my PC.
Here is what someone else posted on that forum with price, to give you a rough idea what your A1200 is worthAmiga 1200 with version 3 Roms
