Statutory Sick Pay advice

Basically Ive had a few problems which are getting lesser and I am planning on returning to work within the next 4-5 weeks.
However my last monthly pay credit was in April Ive used savings to keep paying rent and bills. Work also told me they had paid me a month too much but told me they will deal with this when am back.
But Ive basically ran out of money totally, infact tomorrow my account will be over my agreed overdraft.
I am a single person living alone in a housing assoc property, will I be able to get any assistance at all benefit wise, to help me as Ive no funds end of this month to pay rent/council tax never mind anything else.
Any help/links are most welcome, oh and I am in Scotland if it makes a difference

ESA is the benefit you can claim. It can either be based on NIC's or as a means tested benefit.0
