kaz, thanks for sharing your photos of your rooms. It does make me feel better.
Feefeel, take it easy and enjoy your children. I used to get phone calls asking me why I hadn't taken DS1 to nursery. I thought it was optional! We had much better days playing in the garden then being dragged in and out of cars. I did have 4 under 6! Enjoy your babies, it all goes far too fast.
pigpen, you are right. We Northerners aren't used to this heat. DH has sweat running down his face, he is digging footings for my store room! I will soon be able to put all my junk in another room too!!
Dear Toots Your list is too long, it make me feel tired reading it. Please don't overdo things again.
Thank you to everyone who has tried to cheer me up. DH too, has made me promise not to do too much and has told me again that these lists are for guidance, not compulsory:)business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Been a busy bee this morning, working from home catching up on some paperwork so managed to get a bit of flying done also.:D
WM x 2
Plonked all my on the turn vegetables in the remoska, few bulbs of garlic a drizzle of olive oil and viola, 40 mins later, a yumptious pasta sauce for later.
Also on the stove now, in my Le Creuset bargain :T is a chicken stew, again bunged in leftovers and anything on the turn like some carrots and cabbage.
17 items binned already....will make sure this reaches 100 by end of day.;)
DD1 has her last exam today :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
thank god, its been stressful, gruelling, emotional and wearing and thats just me!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Must say it was a real pleasure getting into bed last night  no....not what you're thinking you mucky lot,but because it was a clean, decluttered room and the bed was freshly made. I slept well although I have a sore back from lugging so much stuff about. I also moved some furniture from work yesterday.
Right best get on, catch you all later. xxxxDFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

Little miss frugal
Last HHC I done the dishes, stripped the bed, got the washing on and hung last nights load on the line.
I'll join for another HHC as I want to finish the bedroom :T0 -
Little Miss I'm hoovering all of downstairs and mopping floors - got distracted by the amount of dust behind the hall radiator so have been getting that out!The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

I more or less cleared the hall and hoovered that and the 2 sq foot of RoD! Will join you again at 11am and relocate all the ironing from yesterday upstairs.

Hi guys, hope you are all enjoying the weather. Sorry I've not read any of the thread, so I hope you are all well, get well soon/hugs/congratulations where applicable.
Yesterday evening I had a good dust of my Dad's TV/Video/DVD player, it was terrible! Soooo much dust! And then I went round my mum's room with a damp cloth and cleaned dirty marks off her wardrobe doors, bedroom door and walls. Some of them just would not come off! And on the bedroom doors, where I was scrubbing at dirty patches has come up whiter than the surrounding areas. Ooops. Anyway, I did me best.
I thought I would tackle the bathroom today, the window frame needs cleaning and so does the radiator. I will do all the normal cleaning just before they get home, but it's nice to do some jobs that they obviously can't normally manage.
Apart from that, we are going shopping (don't ask, apparently DH desperately needs some new stuff) and having some friends round for dinner this evening so it will be nice to [STRIKE]eat[/STRIKE] see them!
Love to you all, I will try to read some thread now while DH is in the shower"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

G n B count me in for 11am HHC please. Also thank you, I read your post yesterday about your BR smelling lovely and clean and inviting, and it made me go and deep clean ours instead of writing the boring stuff for work that I was supposed to be doing. Dh was home last night for once so it was nicely timed.
Kazm - thanks for sharing. I find posting pictures makes me sort something out which is why I do it. I really should do one of the downstairs 'hall' that will one day be my study, but even if I sort the paperwork there will still be half a ton of rough cut oak planks in there (my kitchen units eventually, when we sort the dry rot and the woodworm).
Soappie - we got an under value survey on this place which named essential works and retentions. Took it to the estate agents, along with quotes for the essential works and agreed to split the bill in the form of cashback. They will have the same problem with anyone else who wants to buy it so they may be reasonable.
Toots - bedroom star please.
