    Mum's tax
    clubcard order
    magazine order

Doesn't sound much but with 3 night of boys cricket games, helping in school, going on school trip, pilates and car MoT it will be a miracle if I manage it and that is without my gardening bits that I'd like to get to.

Pooh - how is your DD now (it was your's who had the car incident or am I getting you confused with Polly again?~)

Hi everyone - sorry I've not been around but really need to 'clean house' in every sense of the word - it's even more full now than ever as we cleaned out the garage to fit in Hubby's new bike (yes, he passed his test on second attempt and so we HAD to get the bike immediately...:D) so the house is now full of stuff from the garage, although we have thrown a lot (mainly junk and bits of broken bike). so the ebay thing is great, I need to do that.

Quick Question: Does anyone know how you can set the font on here instead of me having to change it all the time? for some reason, whenever I use firefox, it comes up as times new roman in large size? really annoying

Anyhoooo, my list looks like this:

    Level One
    Declutter the floors
declutter the flat surfaces inc. mantle... even if you scoop it all into a box to deal with later!

Wipe any marks off the sofas
    Dust and deweb!
    Level Three
Sort a shelf... or bookcase... or cupboard
Vacuum under the furniture you can safely move
Catch up on those important phone calls
    Extras
1.Wash any soft furnishings that are grubby
    2.Wipe the paintwork over
    3.15 minutes filing
4.Sort through the box/bag you chucked your 'decluttering' into!

  • Okay guys, I'm getting a little carried away today  At the moment we are in the process of decorating our bathroom and porch - we stripped the wallpaper at the weekend and you know all the little bits of paint and paper that get stuck on the plaster, well I decided to set to with a scraper :eek::eek: You should see the state of my porch and bathroom now :eek::eek:

Once I've finished this cuppa, I'll be spending the next two hours tidying up and then cleaning up plaster dust in the porch and bathroom. Me and my stupid ideas :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Now how long can I make this cup of tea last.........

Pooh - how is your DD now (it was your's who had the car incident or am I getting you confused with Polly again?~)

I am not sure if you are confusing me with Polly or not. My DD had an accident about two weeks ago and is fine but the car is a write off. I have a mobility car so can't lend mine to her so she has had to beg lifts from allsorts. DD drove me to shops in my car and flinches when cars come towards her, luckily we live in the sticks but that means that everyone is travelling fast too.
    Thanks for asking.

    I haven't read anything yet......

I cleaned my kitchen today (about 7am) so I'll claim that when the right day comes along :)

Did a load of washing too which I've just folded and put away.

Vacuumed the living room and hallway.

We went to Severn Beach this afternoon, we all three walked for about ten minutes then I sat down with the dog while DH and DS carried on to the end of the walk. It was really hot, very humid and the sun came out too. It was too hot to sit there so I went slowly back to the car where luckily there was a tree with some shade so we waited there. It was nice to get out but we're very restricted with the dog - so nice to see her smiling face though.

Going to DD2's tonight for takeaway......no cooking :);):)
