Off to have another bath and go to bed, even though I've spent most of the afternoon asleep :o

... then again, I have a feeling I need to water the pots in the garden so I'll have to put it off for a few minutes...

I've done absolutely nothing today - apart from put the WM on just now - I was sooo tired after sleeping badly at my parent's house, combined with my headache, and knackered shoulder. Oh and the infernal heat. I'm doing a bit better now, especially as it's cooling down a bit! Headache has died down to a low simmer, and I feel quite a bit more energetic! :j

are you ok, or just having problems with your space bar?
space bar was playing up. It's still not great, but I've hoovered under it and it's much better now! Thanks for thinking of me, I'm ok!
Hopefully! I'll let you know when it arrives - need to try something as he's constantly down on himself and says he's dumb and stupid and wants to die :(
Oh, poor little thing, that's heartbreaking. He sounds so depressed. He needs lots of love and reassurance - it's so great that you are looking for ways to explain to him about his condition

    Hugs Frodders

FFP, what a great idea to give up smoking in honour of your mum, she would be very proud of you

SSL, I love Ugly Betty, the new series looks like it’s gonna be great, based on last weeks episode

Alnwick is lovely. Oh - and I meant to mention - BB is back to normal. No more runny stuff since yesterday afternoon. I hung around today until she 'performed' in the back garden and it was perfectly normal. So I then took her for a walk (I wasn't walking her until I knew things were back to normal - there was no way that could be cleared up with a poop bag!). She's just had dinner so we'll see what transpires in the morning.

And if you're about, does that mean I can stand down from the TPL (Third Post Lookout :D) and get me dinner?

ETA - I see you've already got it -well done!

A lovely idea FFP - we will all support you and any others joining you :T

Thanks I will need it cause I'll be a crabbit ........................... (insert your own word)
EXCELLENT ffp I spoke to OH about us quitting and he, in his usual style said "lets do it now!". We've been discussing it for a few weeks.
he wants to start from tomorrow morning. I think Im almost ready. Can't say Ive had a ciggie today that Ive "needed" or really wanted. I think we'll have a chat about it tonight when he finishes work @ midnight and see what we decide.

Bellshill? I have a (one of many) ex husband who was born in Bellshill. His parents lived in Uddingston. Went there a few times in my younger days. We used to go to a club in Hamilton called Memory Lane!

Great news about both of you giving up. It's always good to have someone around who is in the same boat. It's the one in the morning that's a killer for me. I get out of bed stick my slippers and robe on, grab my fags and go out for a smoke the minute my eyes are open. Was thinking I should go for a shower or something instead. The up side for me is that I eat a lot better when I'm not smoking and I could really do with getting some weight on. Plus cleaning is great anything to stop me thinking about it!
What a small world. I was too young to go to Memory Lane but I remember my older cousins going. OH used to DJ often in the pubs in Hamilton.

    Soappie Thanks.
methekids&thecat Lovely picture thanks for sharing
froddington- take that 000203DC.gif was angry my SIL got tickets and she didn't even have the posters, the bed spread, the mug, the...........
Have a great time and let Gary know that when he ditches Dawn I'll have him!
Jinky that ad had me laughing
Froddington I love the tequila song I was having a little dance while listing.

I'm at a loose end tonight with no supernatural on the TV  might wash my hair and I really should hoover the bits of popcorn the kids have left all over the floor.

    I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged
