Along the same line as Nicki, I bought a Baileys chocolate fountain for the afforementioned party..............OMG it was a major hit!!! I should think you could use the same recipe for a Baileys fondue :D

It was something like 200g of milk chocolate, melted with 200ml of double cream, some hazlenut oil (I personally didn't want to pay out nearly £4 for some, so put in Almond Oil) and then I think it was about 5cl of Baileys.

We dipped in breadsticks which was my fave, marshmallows and brownie bites cos I couldn't find mini doughnuts anywhere on New Year's Eve!!!

  • Hi there

My niece loves fondue and as it's her 30th birthday next week I want to make her a really special one.

I normally make my fondues with either cheddar and cider, or gruyere, emmental and white wine if I'm feeling flush. Both are delicious.

I don't really want to do a meat or sweet one - does anyone have a truly fab savoury recipe that they can recommend? If not I'll do the Swiss cheese version with lots of extra nice bits to dip in.

    Thank you xx
  • As this has fallne from the front page of OS, I'll add it to the existing thread. You can also take a look at this thread for cider fondue :D
