Downloading MP3 music to player help

DS1 has a camera combined with an MP3 player. We bought some tunes from the Tesco mp3 site and downloaded them to his memory card. The card needed reformatting so the downloads were lost. We can't seem to download them again. It seems that the song is on the memory card but there is silence as it plays. Any ideas how we can get this to work?
